Designing a strategy for entrance the historical village by the SWOT and QSPM method
The entrance of each residential place is a symbol of it and its inhabitants, therefore, the entrance should have properties that can revive the historical, cultural, environmental and social continuance of a place in the minds of different people –especially the passengers and tourists- , since it acts as a connecting factor and binds the inner and outer space of the” residential place” (a city or a village). Historical places attract a considerable amount of tourists due to having numerous appeals and hence the definition of entrance for such places is of great importance. Even historical villages follow this rule and therefore in this research one of important urban issues namely determining approaches for making entrance in historical village of Abyaneh has been dealt with. For reaching this goal, points of weakness and strength as well as opportunities and threats beside the division of village into three sequences and experts' opinions were determined. Finally, through using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) different weights were assigned to these factors in order to be analyzed within SWOT matrix. Then through using SWOT matrix some strategies were obtained and were used in QSPM matrix for prioritization. The results of this research indicated the invasive condition of Abyaneh' entrance.
