A Study on Power and Language Discourse Theory by Michel Foucault and Feminine Identity in Savušun Novel by Simin Daneshvar
The authors of the present article attempt to study the text of "Suvshon" novel to survey the multiple discourses of the work that are influenced by the social situation of Daneshvar’s era, and also studies how this work uses different voices against the dominant patriarchal discourse, silent voices and unheard of the woman listens to the audience. At the same time tries to prove that how Daneshvar was able to create a new character of woman in Iranian fiction by studying the language of the novel, which is influenced by various aspects such as epic, mythological and religious which are independent of the dominant discourse of the society in its time. She finds herself out of passivity and enters the society as an active woman.
