A study on the Styles of Conquering Poetry in the Famous poets’ Poetries from the Islamic to Contemporary Era
With the spread of Islam, either through cultural promotion or developmental wars and combats, one can point to the growing influence of Islam on one hand, and on the other hand, the new cultural approach among writers, scholars, historians and poets in the field of social developments. One of the literary sections that has been influenced by the social and political developments of its period was the poetry. There were many poets during this period, such as Akhtal, Farzadagh, and Jarir in the Umayyad era, Al-Mutanabbī and Abu Tamam, who attributed the victories to the caliphs by describing the conquests in the form of warfare and the tactics of commanders and soldiers in most of their poems. There are direct and indirect references to the caliph and congratulations to him.
