Designing a effective mechanism for implementing strategic plans (Case Study: Iranian Sports Organizations and Federations)

Strategic Management is the science and art of formulating, implementing and evaluating multiple task decisions that enable organizations that achieve their goals. The aim of this study is designing a effective mechanism for implementing strategic plans in Iranian Sports Organizations and Federations. This study has a qualitative approach and we used the grounded theory as a research method. For gathering data we studied high level documents and we interviewed with 28 experts who were aware of this subject.  The validity of this research was examined and approved by the interviewers and then expert professors. The reliability of it is %87 which was obtained by using the methodology of the interstitial agreement. For data analysis we used the continuous comparison method in three stages: open, axial and selective coding. The results of the research showed that the implementation of strategic plans has influenced by factors of human resource development, external factors, organizational environment factors, management factors, educational factors, cultural reform factors, structural and process reform factors, and implementation mechanism. Organizations and sports federations can transmit the strategic plans to the operational stage with the step-by-step implementation of this mechanism and complete the gap between formulating and operation.
