Position of Law and Leagalism: An Examination

Social order and human relations which provide for peace, security and progress are based on the determination of duties and rights as well as their compliance. Laws, government, social institutions and coercive bodies are all means for fulfillment of social order and human relations. As well, law and legalism have been of the essential plans for Imam Khomeini(ra).  In the meantime, the present study aims to examine the position of law and legalism in light of the viewpoints of Imam Khomeini(ra) and define the position of law and legalism among various walks of life. In regard with purpose, this study is an applied reserach which is methodalogically conducted upon analysis-induction. To gather data, it exploits a questionnaire the reliability of wich equals to 94/0 in line with Chronbach α. Following, to analyse the data, it operates descriptive statistics, Friedman Test and Chi-square Test. The outcome of the study suggests that the officials hold a more robust tendency towards the implementation of law in the society. In in the same vein, as suggested by the respondents, people and experts place in same level with regard to legalism and removal of obstacles in law administaryion is of the least priority.  As well, with the growth of legalism amongst the officials, the mass legalism and their compliance with law is enhanced.
