Meta-analysis of the factors affecting on women's fear of crime

Fear of crime is the same as having anxiety and feeling of insecurity and a kind ofconcern that citizens feel sacrificed by social crimes. Studies show that women havemore fear of crime than men.Accordingly, the present study intends to answer the following questions: 1. whatare the most important factors affecting on women's fears of crime in Iran? And (2)in sum, the effective variables (independent) explain how much the fear of crime(dependent) is explained. The method used is a kind of meta-analysis (quantitative)that using scientific bases (Normgs, Iran Dak, Megh Iran, etc.), in the period of1385-1396, 32 statistical (statistical) women's fields were identified and identifiedThey sampled 16 samples with fixed measures in terms of method, correlationcoefficient and significant level and type of database.. In the first step, the evaluation of selected research assumptions of homogeneityand propagation error and in the second step, the coefficients of the effect size ofvariables are examined. Findings of the research indicate that between the size ofthe effects of variables such as level of education, income, age, physical vulnerability,social exclusion, police satisfaction, social trust, social disorder, sexual socialization,sexual harassment and violence, victimization experience, social insecurity, culturalethnicdiversity, social monitoring, sense of belonging to the neighborhood, socialcapital, crime perception, self-defense, media outlets, coverage style and fear ofwomen's crime There is a significant relationship. In sum, independent variableshave been able to explain the changes by ESRQ = 0. 208 in the fear of crime.
