Comparison of Nurses 'and Patients' Viewpoints on the Quality of Nursing Care
The purpose of this study was to compare nurses 'and patients' viewpoints about the quality of nursing care.
In this descriptive-analytical study, 300 hospitalized patients and 100 nurses working in 22 Bahman Neyshabur teaching hospital participated. Patients were selected through systematic random sampling and nurses were selected through census. QUALPAC questionnaire was used for data collection.Descriptive statistics, Kruskal–Walli and U-Mann-Whitney were used to analysis the collected data.
The results of the present study show that the quality of nursing care from the viewpoint of nurses and patients is in a desirable level.
