The effect of motion alteration on selected muscle in people who suffering from ankle disorder during landing
Patients with ankle disorder, which have specific intrinsic risk factors for lower extremity injury, investigate the use of motor control parameters and their effects on injury prevention combined with environmental and local fatigue can be a useful finding to reduce the risk of injury in these people.
This research is a quasi-experimental study. active young men with ankle disorder in a lower extremity functional fatigue protocol subsequently performed a 30 cm box landing test and evaluation of hamstring muscle at four times without intervention, without intervention, with and without fatigue, they performed the intervention without fatigue and with fatigue.
The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that there was a significant difference (p = 0.001) between muscle activity in non-intervention and non-fatigued, intervention and non-fatigued as well as fatigue-associated intervention. There was no significant difference (p> 0.05) without fatigue intervention.
It seems that motion alteration can reduce the risk of knee, ankle and trunk injury in men with functional ankle disorder by modifying hamstring muscle activation according to proven factors.
