The study of decentralization component in postmodern illustrative narrative work
Abstract The discourse of postmodern in illustrative books in conversation between global and local issues generally includes social, moral and some cultural facts. On the whole, the discourse of postmodernism is on the way to decentralization and this component sets the stage for philosophical questions in the visual texts process. As a result, in these books which are based on contrastive views, there is no centralized individuality and interaction is the most primary goal in them. The article is aimed at finding methods which an illustrative-narrator utilizes as strategies to decentralize visual texts. These decision makings include double orientation and multiple orientations, narrative structures, dynamic imagination and temporal and spatial extension etcetera which lead to interaction in current postmodern discourse and pave the way for philosophical questions and research. In doing so, Voices IN THE PARK written by Antony Browne is studied as a variant and examples from other similar works are provided to clarify understanding. The question is: how decentralizing components are shown in illustration by the illustrator?
