Feasibility study of health tourism in Tabriz metropolis

Abstract:

Health tourism is one of the types of tourism that has a favorable exchange rate and job creation for the host country and can also develop sub-industries as a leading industry. The article was in line with the feasibility study of Tabriz health tourism. The main question of the article is that what are the strengths and weaknesses of health tourism in the metropolis of Tabriz, as well as the opportunities and threats? This article is based on the Swat method and uses a questionnaire survey method to determine the scales and their weight. The statistical population of this study was 20 tourism experts. In order to examine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of health tourism in the metropolis of Tabriz, based on points, it has been entered in Excel environment and after examining the results of tables, the necessary strategy has been determined and drawn as a graph. The findings show that Tabriz has the necessary infrastructure for health tourism. Another finding is that a defensive strategy can be effective in developing health tourism.
