The Effect of Organizational Capability On Performance with A Mediating Role of Competitive Advantage in Iran Insurance Company, Tehran

In the present century, organizations are in a competitive situation that is affected by factors such as globalization, technology development, and the creation of new technologies. All over the world, managers are looking to improve the performance of their organizations. Therefore, they must look for new competitive resources and forms for the survival and development of the organization. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of organizational capabilities such as dynamic capability, innovation capability, research capability, development and service capability on organizational performance with respect to the mediating role of competitive advantage. The type of research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. The statistical population included the employees of Iran Insurance Company of Tehran Province. In this study, using Cochran's formula, 322 people were determined as the sample size and the data collection tool was questionnaire. The structural equation model has been used to test the hypotheses. The research results indicated the significant effect of organizational capabilities on competitive advantage and significant effect of competitive advantage on performance and also a significant effect of organizational capabilities on organizational performance due to the mediating role of competitive advantage in Iran Insurance Company of Tehran Province.
