Identifying Factors Affecting Rural Women's Behavior to Prevent Forest Land Use Changes in Lorestan Province
The study was conducted with the aim of Identifying Factors Affecting Rural Women's Behavior to Prevent Forest Land Use Changes in Lorestan Province. The statistical population included all rural women over 15 years in Lorestan province (N= 231000). A questionnaire was used to collect data. The content and face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a panel of experts and its reliability was confirmed by evaluating measurement model and using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. Data were then analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modelling by the help of SmartPLS3.0 SPSS19 and software. The results showed that all predictor variables in the theory of planned behavior have a positive and significant relationship with the behavior of rural women to prevent forest degradation. Also, structural equation modeling results that explain variables such as attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control and tendency are able to explain 73.4% of the variations of rural women's behavior change.
