Information technology is creating a new revolution that is no less important than the industrial revolution. This study examines (the role of ICT in attracting the participation of local communities) in the village of Liwan Sharghi, Bandar Gaz, Golestan Province, which is a descriptive method. - A survey was conducted in which the method of interviewing and then the method of virtual ethnography was used in the form of online presence in the collective communication network of forest supporters of Liwan village and monitoring of group activities, the results of which are the main issues raised in this network.
