Explain the relationship between job characteristics and job motivation of Tarbiat Modares University staff

The aim of this study was to explain the relationship between job characteristics and job motivation of Tarbiat Modares University staff in 1397-98. The statistical population includes all male and female employees who were working in Tarbiat Modares University in 1397-98. The total number of statistical population is 133 people, 59 of whom are males and 74 are females. In order to collect data, Hackman and Al-Dhamam Job Characteristics Questionnaire (1980) and Sohrabi Job Motivation Questionnaire (2013) have been used. The research findings showed that among the five dimensions of the job characteristics model, three dimensions of skill diversity (p = 0.000 and = 0.46), job importance (p = 0.003 and r = 0.253) and feedback (003) /0p = and -0.25 = r) have a significant relationship with job motivation. Based on the research findings, it is suggested that in developing human resource strategies, organizations create a space and platform for employee independence to fulfill their responsibilities, which increases employee development, innovation, commitment, organizational learning and job satisfaction.
