Assessing the role of recreating dysfunctional tissues in development management in Ahwaz

Abstract:

Inefficient urban tissues are areas of the city that, in comparison with other areas of the city, have lagged behind the development of development, separated from the evolutionary cycle of life and have become the center of problems and failures. At the same time, they have a lot of hidden capacities and capabilities for future urban development. However, addressing the dysfunctional structures of cities and planning for them is not separate from addressing economic, cultural and social realities and requires careful, comprehensive and realistic planning. In recent years, urban regeneration as a new approach to improve and modernize this Tissues are raised. This research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the role of recreating dysfunctional tissues in development management in Ahvaz. The findings of this study show the position of the overall strategy to get out of the current situation and move towards sustainable urban regeneration in the socio-economic structure (conservative strategy) and in the physical-environmental structure (defensive strategy). The general conclusion is that: in relation to the hypothesis with an average of 3.28 is confirmed.
