Investigating the Relationship between Religion and Sense of Social Justice among Citizens of Bandar Abbas
Lack of justice in society results in discrimination, oppression, corruption, and lack of public consensus, and such a society departs from virtue, consensus, and solidarity, leading to disintegration.Considering the importance of discussing the sense of social justice, the present study seeks to answer the main question of whether there is a relationship between religiosity and a sense of social justice in Bandar Abbas city using field method, survey technique and questionnaire research tool. The statistical population of this study is all citizens aged 18 years and above in Bandar Abbas city, 384 of whom were surveyed as sample size. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and structural equations Smart PLS.The results showed that between religiosity (P = 0.36) and all its dimensions namely religiosity (P = 0.42), ritualism (P = 0.37), religiosity consequence (P = 0.32). Empirical dimension of religiosity (P = 0.28), Cognitive dimension of religiosity (P = 0.24) have a positive and direct relationship with the degree of social justice in Bandar Abbas citizens. Therefore, all the research hypotheses are confirmed. The results of the structural equation model (Smart PLS) also show that religiosity has a moderate effect on the sense of social justice (0.501) and the religiosity variable explains 0.25 of the variance in the sense of social justice
