The Effect of the Syntactic Readings on the Meanings of the Quranic verses: A Case Study in the Al-Baqarah (Cow) Surah
from past to present, have taken note of word implications when parsing. In the hHoly Quran, which is itself the most important reason for the development and evolution of syntax, there are deep relationships between syntactic roles and implications, So much so that in some verses of the Quran, the expected role of a word has a significant effect on its implications. By parsing in the Arabic language, it is meant that a word may adopt different roles depending on its place in a sentence and each role can change the meaning of that sentence. This study relies on the descriptive-analytical method to employ parsing as a powerful tool to identify the different roles and their appropriate implications. In addition, this study examines the different roles and their implications based on the evidence and examples from the verses of Al-Baqarah, in the Holy Quran. The results of this study show that the most important reasons that result in meaning extension or change in the Holy Quran include uncertainty in the kinds of word status, uncertainty in the morphological structures of words, multiple roles sharing in one status, and places of stop.
