Study Of The Relationship Between Organizational Bullying And Organizational Indifference (Case Study: Esfahan Steel Company)
The purpose of the present study is an evaluation of the relationship between organizational bullying and organizational indifference in Esfahan Steel Company. This research of goal aspect, applied and of method aspect is descriptive-correlative. Statistical society includes white-collar employees working in the factory in 2015 that 200 persons were randomly selected from them. For achieving usability data in this study, the questionnaire of organizational bullying (Nasr Esfahani & Shahbazi) and organizational indifference questionnaire used (Danaeefard et al). Content validity of the questionnaires was verified by the experts in these fields. The reliability of the organizational bullying questionnaire 0/87 and organizational indifference questionnaire was determined 0/90 by Cronbach’s alpha method and SPSS v.19 software. Hypothesis test results showed that there was a significant relationship between organizational bullying included four sets of items (verbal bullying, non-verbal bullying, practical bullying, and performance-related bullying) and organizational indifference. Based on stepwise regression analysis, the relationship between bullying tactics (verbal, non-verbal, and performance-related bullying) and organizational indifference is significant and it can be generalizing to the population but there is not a significant relationship between practical bullying and organizational indifference. The results of the research showed that there are no significant differences in organizational bullying between respondents' views, concerning the educational level and Longevity, but a significant difference was observed, regarding sex, age, and organizational position. Also about organizational indifference, there are no significant differences between respondents' views concerning sex, educational level, and Longevity but a meaningful difference observed, regarding the age and organizational position.
