Abstract:

The noble book of Nahj al-Balaghah includes part of Hazrat Ali's (AS) words collected by Seyyed Razi (r.a). This book is unique in various aspects such as words and sentences, the texture and geometry of words, the magic of expression and meanings, the impact on the soul, being multidimensional, etc. However, there have been criticisms on Nahj al-Balaghah, and the method of compiling it, many of which are not fair, and some require careful scientific consideration. Among these critiques are Allameh Mohammad Taghi Shoushtari, the author of Bahjo al-Sabagah fi Sharh-e Nahj al-Balaghah, who in some cases has considered Seyyed Razi's method as inappropriate. This article seeks to scientifically analyze Allameh's critiques and evaluate their correctness or incorrectness. The present research result is that in some cases (sermons and letters 57, Wisdom 227, 289, etc.) Allameh's criticism is accepted, and in some cases (sermons 92, Wisdom 378, etc.), the criticism is not correct, and he has neglected the truth.
