Comparison of excitement among addicted and non-addicted prisoners

The purpose of the research was to compare the excitement among addicted and non-addicted prisoners. The research method was causal-comparative. The statistical population included all the prisoners in the central prison of Hamedan in 2017. The sample size was 212 with Cochran formula. 143 addicts and 69 non-addicts were selected randomly. The Zuckerman excitement questionnaire was used to collect data. Because the data distribution was not based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, the Mann-Whitney U test was used. Data analysis was done using SPSS software. The results showed that the emotional exertion experience of addicted prisoners was significantly higher than non-addicted ones.
