Logistics Agile Police Model of Prevention Using the Thematic Analysis Method

Today, agility is one of the most important strategies of any organization, especially police organizations, to quickly identify and respond to customer needs. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a model for agile police logistics.

This research is applied-developmental and descriptive-survey in terms of purpose. The study population for modeling and designing a semi-structured interview with 22 law enforcement and logistics experts and purposeful judgment sampling consisted of the managers and commanders of the Iran Police and Tehran Crime Prevention Police with a history of command in the field of police.   The method of data analysis was the method of thematic analysis.

The main finding of this study is to provide a model including dimensions, components and indicators for agile logistics of the Iran Police Crime Prevention Police. The model presented in this study includes a total of 100 indicators in the form of 27 components and 8 main dimensions.

Given that the issue of logistical agility in the police is a systematic prevention strategy. The results indicate that the agile dimensions of the crime prevention police using the methodology of this research include organization and management, manpower, supply, technological intelligence, agility capabilities, interaction, planning and process.
