A Model for Good Governance in the Defense Sector of the Islamic Republic Of Iran and the Need to Use It

The present study is a model for good governance in the defense sector of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the need to use it. This study aims to provide a model for achieving and creating the necessary conditions for good governance in the defense sector of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The method of this research is qualitative in which the data-based grounded theory method is used. Using the opinions of subject experts and interviews with 13 experts in this field, using the snowball method to reach the stage of theoretical saturation, have identified the effective factors in developing a good governance model.

The findings of this study ultimately led to the presentation of a model in the defense sector of the Islamic Republic of Iran that finally the necessities, obstacles and requirements for the development of good governance in the defense sector as well as the conceptual model of the research were clarified.

According to the results of the study, it can be concluded that without the use of good governance in the defense sector, military progress and national and regional growth and development and the popularity and acceptance of the defense sector in society will face problems.
