An Introduction to the Stages of Islamic Awakening in the Islamic World
Islamic Awakening is a term that has been used to express a movement based on political awareness and action and based on Islamism. The first stage is called the reform movement. This stage started with the beginning of colonialism in the Islamic world. And jihad is called begins with the formation of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Imam Khomeini is the most prominent leader of this period. The third stage is the increase in political participation and jihad in the Islamic world. The Islamic Awakening evolved after the Revolution and Jihad, and where Islamists were able to participate in politics and participate in government, they took advantage of this social base. The fourth wave of Islamic awakening, which began in 2011 in North Africa and West Asia, is the effort of societies to realize their lost rights and create social, political, cultural changes centered on Islam. The present study is based on analytical-descriptive method.
