The comparison of spirituality and self-esteem among aggressive adolescent boys with normal ones
This study aimed to investigate the comparing of spirituality and self-esteem amongم aggressive adolescent boys with normal ones. This study was a causal –comparative and descriptive design. The study population was consisted of all boy students of 1st period of high school in Karaj at 2017-18. 150 aggressive adolescents and 150 normal adolescents were selected by available sampling method. Instruments for gathering data were Aggression questionnaire (Eysenck & Wilson, 1975), self-esteem Questionnaire (Coopersmith, 1967) and Spirituality Scale (Hall & Edwards, 1986). Then,the data were analyzed using SPSS.v21 software and statistical tests such as MANOVA. Based on study findings, there was a statistically significant differences in spirituality among aggressive adolescents and normal adolescents. Too, MANOVA test indicated that the groups differences were statistically significant in self-steem and it's general, familial and educational subscales. therefore, by designing psychological interventions based on this variables can diminish the aggression among at-risk adolescents.
