The Effect of Six Weeks Aerobic Training and Cinnamon Extract on IL-6 Gene Expression in Fat Tissue of Obese Male Feed by High Fat Diet
Comparing the concurrent training order on plasma IL-6 levels in elderly male. Introduction This study aimed to investigate the comparison of a different orders of concurrent training on plasma IL-6 levels, insulin resistance index (HOMA) and anthropometric characteristics of an elderly male. Forty women with 55-70-year-old which having no particular illnesses were divided into 4 groups: endurance-resistance, (n = 9), resistance-endurance (n = 10), interval resistance-endurance (n = 12) training, and control group (n = 9) randomly. Height, weight, BMI, WHR, and serum levels of myonectine glucose and insulin were measured and recorded before and after performing protocol. Experimental groups participated in concurrent training for 8 weeks, 3 sessions every week, 60 minutes in every session. A univariate (covariance) test was used for analyzing the data. A significant increase of vaspin (p < /em> = 0.009) and the significant decrease of glucose (p < /em> = 0.001) and HOMA index (p < /em> = 0.028) was observed in the experimental groups compared to control, no significant difference among experimental groups. There was not any significant difference among groups in insulin levels (p < /em> = 0.37). Older males can take advantage of the concurrent training with any orders of them.
