Growth Criteria and Stages of Family Life Cycle in Iran

In order to know and analyze human behavior at the micro and macro levels, economics are necessary to know the behavior of the families. Because each person is affiliated with an institution called the family. The foundation of a society is made up of these family, and economists need to know the behaviors within the household and the life cycle of the family in order to theorize and make policies to improve the economic situation of the society. The purpose of this article is to review the theoretical foundations of economics and family life cycle and the theories of researchers in the field of economics and consumer behavior, the main economic reasons affecting family formation, the concept of life cycle and criteria for their developmental stages. The research method of this article is library and descriptive. Researchers have introduced the growth criteria and stages of the family life cycle and their evolutionary tasks according to the review of books, articles and authoritative scientific sites about family life. The results of the article can provide a comprehensive view to researchers and those interested in the field of consumer behavior, the fields of economics in understanding the various dimensions of the family life cycle in Iran.
