Emotion Regulation Strategies and Mental Toughness and Anger Control: during the Covid-19 prevalence
Considering that the prevalence of Covid-19 in the world has caused many problems, including mental health; Therefore, the aim of this study was to design a model of emotion regulation strategies with mental Toughness and anger control in elite male karatekas during the prevalence of Covid -19.
This research is applied in terms of purpose and correlational. A total of 130 Premier League karate men were selected as the research sample. For data collection, three standard questionnaires of cognitive emotion regulation strategies Garnfsky, Kreich and Spinhaun (2002), mental toughness questionnaire and Hajati, Akbarzadeh and Khosravi (2008) aggression questionnaire were used. PLS software was used to measure the relationships and fit the model.
The results showed that adaptive strategies of cognitive emotion regulation and mental Toughness have a positive effect on controlling karate practitioners' anger and maladaptive strategies have a negative and significant effect (p
