Testing of multi criteria decision making model in designing success model of Succession Planning in Iranian Banking system

Abstract:
, is the existence of an efficient management system. To have an effective and efficient management system, organizations need to train qualified managers. Training managers needs to have a comprehensive and complete framework in order to achieve the goals and strategies of the organization with the correct selection and training of effective managers. The aim of this research is to develop a model for affecting factors in success of succession programs in Iranian banks. The present study is based on a mixed research method. The statistical population is academic experts specializing in human resource management and experts working in Iranian banks. The number of statistical samples in the qualitative phase is sufficient to conduct interviews with 12 people, and 161 employees of the banking sector are selected for quantitave phase. In the qualitative dimension, the phenomenological method is used and in the quantitative dimension, in order to validate the model, Delphi method, confirmatory factor analysis and multi-criteria decision fuzzy SWARA technique are used for screening and prioritization of effective factors. Finally, after determining the categories, the general classes of the model are identified in the form of three categories of succession requirements, contextual conditions and facilitating factors.
