Researches show the effective role of spiritual and religious psychotherapy in psychological well-being, the efficiency of intellectual, emotional and behavioral action, and the exaltation of human beings. Considering the comprehensiveness and capacity of Islam in this field, this article examines the effectiveness of spiritual and religious therapies in line with the Islamic approach by qualitative meta-analysis, in order to describe the types of interventions with the Islamic approach, compare the effectiveness and Present possible strengths and weaknesses and explain the effective components in the effectiveness of therapies. In this regard, the researches conducted from 2009-2011, which were a total of 43 works with the most thematic relevance, were selected and reviewed by qualitative meta-analysis method. The results showed: a- Psychotherapies in line with the Islamic approach are more in combination with contemporary therapeutic approaches and a limited number of therapies have been extracted independently from religious texts. B- Therapies based on and in line with the Islamic approach have been effective in improving the symptoms of anxiety disorders and depression, promoting individual abilities and improving spouses' adjustment. C- Factors such as paying attention to the original human dimension, unifying, responding to natural needs, promoting intellectual, emotional and behavioral activity, improving quadruple relationships, etc. are among the most important factors in the effectiveness of such therapies. D- Expansion of field research in other fields of treatment such as personality disorders and compilation and promotion of field evidence in therapies based on the Islamic approach is important in utilizing the capacities of this field..
