The mediating role of Expectancy in the Relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and Corona Disease Anxiety

This study aims to investigate the relationship between corona anxiety and spiritual intelligence with the mediating role of life expectancy. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the present study included all people who understood the effects of the coronavirus epidemic in Iran. From this population, 217 people in different provinces were selected by available sampling method. They answered the questionnaires of Corona Anxiety, Ali-pour et al. (2020), Spiritual Intelligence, Abdullah Zadeh (2015) and Snyder's Life Expectancy Questionnaire (1996). Baron and Kenny four-step method and bootstrap method were used to analyze the data. Findings showed: a) There is a significant negative relationship between corona anxiety and spiritual intelligence; B) There is a positive and significant relationship between expectancy and spiritual intelligence; C) There is a significant negative relationship between corona anxiety and expectancy; D) There is a significant negative relationship between corona anxiety and spiritual intelligence and expectancy; E) The results of path analysis showed that spiritual intelligence has an effect on corona anxiety through expectancy and 0.78 of the relationship between spiritual intelligence and corona anxiety through the path of expectancy is done.
