The impact of career plateau structure and content on the teachers motivation

Understanding the career plateau phenomenon among teachers' is important because it is the teachers' in terms of job characteristics and organizational structure. In this study, the relationship between career plateau Content and structure have been studied with teachers' motivation. Statistical population included all secondary school teachers' in Tehran in the academic year 2018-2019 are using cluster sampling 423 subjects were selected. Information on research variables from job plateau questionnaire Mailman (1992) motivation and Becker (2008), respectively. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha method. The Information obtained in this research using descriptive statistics (Frequency, percentage, charting, table editing and Standard deviation) and inferential statistics (correlation coefficient, Stepwise regression, etc.) using SPSS software version22 Were analyzed. The data analysis showed that the structure and content of the relationship between career plateau, job motivation, the confidence level of 0/99 per cent in the negative direction is significant. Multiple regression analysis showed a stepwise career plateau structure and content have a negative impact on the motivation of teachers’. The results’ show that the job is removing plateau teachers’ motivation is low.
