The Survey of Mental Health Profile among Female Athletes in Sport Organizations to Provide Counseling and Psychotherapy

The aim of this study was to Survey mental health profile among female athletes in sport organizations to provide counseling and psychotherapy. The research design is descriptive type. Measurement instrument to evaluate mental health was Personality Questionnaire Multiphasic Minnesota Personality-2 Restructured Form (MMPI-2RF) that has been validated by Kamkary and Shokrzadeh in Iran (1389). The results showed that the average female staff of physical education organization is in the sub-scales' "low positive emotions", "Malaise", "self-doubt", "Aesthetic-Literary Interests" and "introversion" above average and they need counseling and psychotherapy services. Hence, it is necessary to increase mental health and counseling services should be enjoying process.
