A Descriptive Evaluation of the Works of Quran- Based Moral Education
In order to achieve the research gaps in Quran-based moral education, first, the works of moral education, including articles, books, and theses, should be reviewed. In this study, moral education means a purposeful process by which a trainer tries in different ways to provide the underlying factors and remove the obstacles for a trainee to reach the moral habits and good actions. For answering the main research question, first, a list of the 200 valuable works of moral education was provided, and then the Quranbased works were classified and evaluated. The estimation of these works shows that although the works of Quran-based moral education are centered on Quran, there is an obvious difference among them in goals, foundations, principles, and methods, which demonstrates there are presuppositions from other sources and sciences. According to the findings, there is a gap related to the approach of order of descent in the Quranbased issues of moral education. Although some of them mention it, they do not make a significant difference in this method in moral education. This descriptive-analytical study applied a library research method.
