Abstract:
HIV/Aids patients, like other citizens, enjoy legal rights and benefits, and their illness cannot be considered as the grounds for discriminating against and depriving them of some of these rights. HIV/AIDS patients have a disability like other people with disabilities and the legislature should put its efforts in support of this group. However, the nature of AIDS has resulted in different outcomes and sometimes the inherent rights of these individuals, including the right to work, the right to equality, the right to health have been denied or damaged. Therefore, policymakers recalled human rights documents in this field and have confirmed that all these rights should be exercised for this group of citizens.  These are either general human rights documents or HUMAN RIGHTS DOCUMENTS related to AIDS. Governments are obliged to identify these rights, enforce them, and guarantee its violation.
