Systematic review of the basics of sustainable Human resource management
This study aims to analyze sustainable human resource management based on the latest scientific advances and identify key elements, trends and gaps in research. A systematic literary review was conducted using Scopus database articles from 2001 to 2018, which resulted in 115 scientific articles. Data analysis was performed through content analysis tools and statistical processing of abstracts using Alceste 2015 software. The results divided the articles into four categories, which included 74% of the articles analyzed. The first category included studies on sustainable leadership based on individual and group strength, its principles, processes, actions, and organizational values. The second category included examining the relationship between human resource management, environmental sustainability, and organizational performance. The third category included the tensions and paradoxes between human resource management and sustainability measures: on the one hand, human resource management must focus on reducing costs and corporate profitability (in the short term); On the other hand, their actions should provide long-term sustainability of organizational performance. The last category is related to the relationship between human resource management and the social dimension of sustainability, especially with regard to organizational social responsibility and the company's relationship with its stakeholders. Thus, the purpose of this article is to help the existing topics in the field of sustainable human resource management, by analyzing the latest scientific developments and future directions of human resource studies.
