Study of lifestyle changes and its effects on the architecture and spatial configuration of indigenous houses(Case study: Indigenous houses of Qajar and Pahlavi periods of Shiraz)
The configuration of home space in an area can be influenced by the lifestyle of the residents of that area. Rapaport and Oliver consider socio-cultural contexts as an effective factor in shaping indigenous architecture,and as Rapaport has stated, space has meaning.Therefore, the pattern of space organization and its configuration should be examined in order to understand the relationship between the design of built spaces and the dimensions affected by the way of life of its inhabitants. Therefore, the main problem of the present study can be expressed as follows: lifestyle and the resulting behavioral pattern, as well as the study of social relations, kinship relations, family structure, etc.how it has affected the formation of form and spatial configuration of indigenous houses. According to the statistical population of Shiraz native houses, which are mostly located in Sang-e-Siah Baft neighborhood of the old city of this city, with the aim of syntactic reading and using Space Syntax software, graphical analytical analysis (SPSS) which according to the arguments Logically, the quantitative information obtained from the visible graphs of the output graphs of Ucl Depthmap software finds its strengths and weaknesses through qualitative and quantitative analysis, and we interpret the place of lifestyle changes in the body of architecture and spatial configuration. The output of these interpretations is the results obtained from the interaction of lifestyle qualities and the quantification of these qualities with the space syntax software that has been studied in the native houses of Shiraz in the Qajar and Pahlavi periods.
