Abstract:

According to the constitution, the protection of the environment is a public duty of the people and the government. In this regard, the role of the prosecutor as the public prosecutor is important and according to the law, duties and powers have been assigned to him. In this regard, as a guardian of public rights, he has the duty to declare crimes and prosecute environmental destroyers, and from the position of public prosecutor in charge, he protects this right of citizens and in cases where environmental protection requires, to issue Special orders such as closing factories and polluting industries and dealing with environmental criminals. In addition, in accordance with the law and with the authority he has, he supervises judicial officers and gives them the necessary training in the field of environmental protection, especially with special officers such as officers of the Environmental Protection Organization, natural resources and non-governmental organizations in the field of environment. It is biologically related.
