Internal evaluation of Educational Development Offices (EDO) of faculties and teaching hospitals of Ahvaz Jundishapur University
Internal evaluation of education development offices makes education system planners more aware of the existing goals, then helps them measure the achievement of the goals and plans to improve the quality accordingly. This type of assessment shows how far from the desired situation and what programs should be considered to achieve the goals and increase the quality and improvement of education. This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 1400. The study population was all educational development offices of colleges and educational hospitals (12 development offices). Major activities of development offices were selected as the main performance criteria. The results showed that the overall performance of development offices was assessed at a moderate level. According to the results of the present study, it can be concluded that although some progress has been made in various aspects of the educational development offices in the university, the Development Center as a center of innovation has a very heavy mission and should be able to stimulate educational change and innovation in the university.
