A Comparative Study of the Principles of Governance in East and West Political Thought; Relying on Machiavelli and Tensor

Governance is the process of decision-making and its implementation, and one of the principles of governance in classical texts is advice or policy-making, by which the ways and means of maintaining the authority and legitimacy of political power are explained and presented, in which Much attention has been paid to the management and regulation of affairs and the relationship between citizens and rulers. In fact, political advice deals with how political systems work and the influence of factors in the production and distribution of political power, and what is the best way to maintain power. Therefore, the research seeks to understand the principles of governance in the classical texts of Eastern and Western political thought, especially the "letter" of Tensor Machiavelli's "Shahriar". In Tensor's view, the adjustment of religion and politics in the relationship between society and the ruler, and the extremism and support of authoritarian rule have always been emphasized by Machiavelli, and the results show that Tensor and Machiavelli aim in governance-related policies to provide a behavioral idea. It is appropriate for the government to gain and keep high power alive.
