Determining the Characteristics of the Curriculum Quadruplet Elements of National Defense University: Constructive Approach
This reserch aims to determine the characteristics of the curriculum quadruplet elements of National Defense University based on constructive approach. The present study is applied-developmental in terms of the research type and has been conducted with a mixed heuristic approach and data-based theory (fundamental theory). The statistical population includes the faculty members of Tehran universities amounting to 124 people. The sample in the library studies section based on the all-sample-count method consisted of all available resources and in the specialists section, 17 specialists were selected by purposive sampling method based on principle of reaching saturation. In order to analyze the data, codifying, refocusing, and selective methods were adopted. The results illustrated that in the target element, cooperation with educational and research centers, scientific, and military, in the element of learning-teaching strategies, the use of participatory strategies, in the content element, the use of challenging and discourse-needed topics, and finally in the evaluation element, the use of group evaluation and self-evaluation were emphasized.
