Identifying the Dimensions and Components of E-Learning based on the Theory of Brain-Compatible Learning in the Iranian Higher Education System
The purpose of this study is to identify the dimensions and components of e-learning based on the theory of brain-compatible learning in the Iranian higher education system.
The research method was applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of data type. In the qualitative part, the data collected through interviews were analyzed using coding methods and the results were identified as the dimensions of main and secondary concepts and categories. The statistical population included 30 knowledgeable experts who were selected by purposive sampling. Hypertext was used to collect data in the qualitative part.
The results showed that based on the analyzes performed by the meta-combination method, in the first step, common codes were identified and extracted from the research background. In the next step, common codes were classified as research components and dimensions and then indicators related to Dimensions and components were presented and a total of 3 dimensions (structural, contextual, content), 23 components (organizational factors, educational network structure, scientific structure, educational structure, research structure, support structure, evaluation structure and performance evaluation, infrastructure Technology (technology) economic infrastructure, management and leadership infrastructure, administrative infrastructure and support system, cultural, social and value infrastructure, participatory learning requirements, specialized manpower, individual factors (teacher and student), appropriate and advanced technology, aspects Brain-adapted education, design of effective presentation environment, extensive communication networks (communication and social networks), innovation styles, creating pleasant, optimal and rich opportunities for learning, creating a pleasant emotional environment for the brain and learning, ethical and political considerations ) And 158 common indices were extracted.
The results showed that the design and development of appropriate and excellent courses proves the success of learners in e-learning in higher education.
