The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Employees' Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Case Study: Staff of Fourth Naval Base)

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence dimensions on organizational citizenship behavior of employees. This correlational survey is applied in terms of purpose and uses descriptive survey data collection method. The statistical population of the present study is the personnel of Bandar Anzali Naval Base, which was estimated to be 260 people and 155 people were selected through the Cochran limited society formula. Data distribution and analysis were performed on 155 cases. Data analysis was done using Smart PLS software. The results of the analysis showed that knowledge of their emotions has an effect of 0.24, use of emotion has an effect of 0.11, emotion regulation has an effect of 0.14, and evaluation of others' feelings has an effect of 0.38 on the organizational citizenship behavior of Bandar Anzali naval personnel.
