aStudying the factors affecting the formation of marginalization of UrmiaCity and its consequences (Case study of Aliabad and Reyhanabad districts)
aThe world is rapidly expanding urban life. Now, the pace of urbanization in developing countries is more than developed countries. In Iran, the pace of urbanization has been rapidand the acceleration of this growth, has caused many problems for major cities in Iran (especially Urmia City). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting the formation of marginalization in Urmia and its consequences and its research methodology isfield and library. Random sampling method was conducted randomly among the 322 residents of the northern outskirts of Urmiaand data was analyzed by statistical methods and correlation coefficient inSpss software. The results of this study indicate that the most important reasons for marginalization in Urmia could be unemployment, low income, low-rent housing and mass migration from rural areas and small villages due to economic factors (Economic attractions of Urmiaand economic repulsions of surrounding towns and villages)and social and cultural repulsion of previous residing location. This causes various urban abnormalities (the employment of marginalized people in false jobs, illegal constructions, increase in crime rate, the adverse effects of cultural, social and economic and urban environmental pollution, etc).
