Investigating effective factors on running away girls in EasAzerbaijan province

Adolescent period is one of the most important one in life which various social and familial factors could influence on their viewpoints and performances. Aims of this research are investigating effective factors on running away girls and offering applicable suggestions to prevent social difficulties.
This research is the result of investigating and interviews with all running girls (167 girls) which were in social welfare care center during this research. The design of the research is descriptive and data were collected from intelligent Raven questionaries’ and through an interview by running away girls about effective factors on their escape. Data analysis was accomplished by khi 2 test and SPSS software.
Results show that there is a significant relationship between puberty period and running away from home among girls, between intelligent quotient and literacy level of girls, and also between literacy level of girls’ parents and running away from home.
It seems that running away girls are victims of individual, familial, social, educational, cultural and economic factors which all cause adolescence’s running away from home causing different harms and abnormalities.
Appropriate and sufficient trainings could prevent from occurrence of these social difficulties
