Abstract:

The existence of government is one of the most essential needs of societies and the core of political life. The importance of having a government in political science is so great that some consider it to be its main subject. For all the importance and function that government has in political science and society, unfortunately, due to the weakness in conceptualization and theorizing, there is no clear view of the issue of government and there is a gap in this regard. Therefore, explaining the views and thoughts of Islamic thinkers about the government can reduce the existing gap. In the present study, with a descriptive-analytical method and a library study, the government has been studied from the perspective of the Supreme Leader and they have been organized in a conceptual model. Their views seem to have the necessary coordination and structure. He considers the ideal state and the level of the Islamic Revolution as an "Islamic state" that has the principles, resources, form, agents, institutions, tasks, and goals.
