Abstract:

Due to having safe crossing, drivers need to choose appropriate space so as to have the so-called safe crossing on Main Street which inevitably causes traffic troubles. Therefore; both to reduce the hours of intervals in intersection and upturn of these conveniences, the U-turn and left turn are omitted nowadays and intersections have taken their places instead. This present paper intends to analyses the critical crossing space impact on U-Turn movement capacity in gash. To module, regression Multi-variables have been used in which Critical crossing space and moving capacity on Main Street are independent Parameters and U-Turn capacity dependent one. Based on founded results, decreasing main street capacity and increasing critical crossing space will lead to growth of intersection capacity. Moreover, regarding fascia regression, for a specific and certain number of transportation vehicles on Main Street with critical crossing growth, intersection capacity for U-turn movement will decline.
