Abstract:

Participation is one of the main tools for achieving political development. Any country that wants to achieve political development must inevitably pave the way for women's political participation. Given the importance of political participation, since the formation of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, many efforts have been made to strengthen women's political participation. Given this, the main question is what has been the political participation of women in the governments of Khatami, Ahmadinejad and Rouhani? In response to this hypothesis, it is suggested that women's political participation in the governments of Khatami, Ahmadinejad and Rouhani, although growing compared to previous periods, but this growth has been focused only on the basic and middle levels of management. The results of the research show that during the presidencies, despite the election campaigns based on the presence of women in important positions, the process of their presence has shifted to the middle positions. The type of research method in the present study is descriptive-analytical and based on library studies
