Abstract:
Objective

This study was conducted to investigate the presence of physical education graduates in sports management jobs in Kermanshah province.

Methodology

This research is descriptive and applied. The statistical population of the study includes: executive managers, sports specialists and heads of sports delegations, employees of the Sports and Youth Department of Kermanshah province. For sampling, due to the small size of the population, the total number method was used and 87 questionnaires were distributed. The research instrument was a two-dimensional researcher-made questionnaire about the current and desired status of experts, whose validity was confirmed by experts, and for internal reliability, Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α = 0.8) and optimal status (α = 0.9) were used.

Results

To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, one-sample t-test, independent t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used for comparison between groups. The results showed the current presence of professionals in occupations. Management is not in a good position and there is a significant difference between the current situation and the desired situation.

Discussion and Conclusion

The results showed that the current situation of the presence of educated physical education specialists in sports management jobs in Kermanshah province is not appropriate and favorable. In other words, according to the respondents, there are few educated specialists in the sports management jobs of the province and the favorable situation of the presence of physical education specialists in the sports management jobs should be at a high level. In other words, in sports management jobs, educated specialists should be used more, that is, in most sports management jobs, the presence of specialists should be more prominent.
