Investigating Government Civil Liability In Compensating For Natural Hazards And The Role Of Crisis Management In Reducing It (Flood case study)

Natural disasters are among the potential threats that have always targeted individuals in a society and governments. Our country is one of the most catastrophic countries in the world and many damages are caused to the people through natural disasters every year; The extent of this damage is so great that it sometimes shakes the foundations of a government. And large sums of money are needed to compensate for that, which is beyond the reach of private individuals. For this reason, it demands the attention of governments and their subordinate institutions to implement the best way to manage crises caused by natural hazards. The purpose of this study is to explain the civil liability of the government in compensating for natural hazards.

This descriptive-analytical article has been prepared by using the documentary method and using the filing tool and using the documents and reports of related organizations.

The findings indicate that; Natural crisis management can reduce the costs of these crises, which include socio-economic as well as human costs.
