Assessing the status of students' cognitive, emotional and functional attitudes toward Islamic education courses(Case study of students of Noshirvani University of Technology in Babol)
Redefining the Islamic education courses of universities is necessary to make them more efficient to meet the needs of the new generation and the present study has been conducted with the aim of strengthening the scientific process of policy-making of Islamic education courses in the future perspective. The present study aims to examine the status of students 'attitudes toward Islamic education courses in three areas: cognitive, emotional and functional, to determine to what extent they have succeeded in elevating students' beliefs? The research method is descriptive-survey with an applied approach. Therefore, from all undergraduate students of Noshirvani University of Technology in Babol, entrance 95 and before, who had passed at least 8 credits, 319 students were selected as the research sample based on Cochran's sample size by random sampling method. The data collection tool was a questionnaire whose validity has already been approved by several experts in this field. The value of Cronbach's alpha coefficient in the total reliability of the questionnaire was 0.908. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical indicators in SPSS software version 24 .Findings show that in presenting Islamic education courses, it is necessary to choose an approach that pays attention to the intellect, emotion and behavior of students.
